Usage Instructions
Indoor/outdoor Fires
1. Place 2-3 Zip firelighters amongst your fuel. For hard to light fuels use more firelighters as required.
2. Using limited draught, light firelighters. Zip recommends using long safety matches. When firelighters are well lit, carefully add more fuel taking care not to extinguish flames.
3. When the fire is well lit, increase the draught.
Barbecues
1. Place 2-3 Zip firelighters amongst your charcoal or briquettes. For hard to light fuels use more firelighters as required.
2. Using limited draught, light firelighters. Zip recommends using long safety matches. When firelighters are well lit, carefully add more fuel taking care not to extinguish flames.
3. When the fire is well lit, increase the draught.
4. The firelighter must have fully burned away before food is placed on the barbecue.
5. Barbecue fuel must be covered by a layer of ash (20-30 mins before cooking).
6. A chimney is required when barbecuing in enclosed spaces. Keep small children away from the barbecue.

Fabulous
These are great, I use a couple each time I light my wood burner, they get it going in a couple of minutes and they are natural and dont smell!

odourless
These are very good. Take slightly longer to catch but have no odour and little smoke and burn for a long time. I'll be using these in future. Good for wood burners

excellent
I have just started using these on our home fire. Yes they take 5 seconds more to catch light from the match but they burn for longer which is excellent for open fires or getting the charcoal to catch for a bbq. The main ADVANTAGE though is they are natural. That is incrediably important using them indoors or indeed for food being bbq'd.
